A year went by without a word..

Oh my.. It's been a year since last time I updated my blog. 

Ish..ish..ish.. Malas betul rasa nak update blog. Nak cerita pasal kek pulak tu. Sometimes, rasa macam dah muak cerita pasal kek. Nak sebut 'kek' pun dah tak kuasa. Tapi bila lama dah tak bake, mula la pulak rasa craving nak makan kek kan...

For this entry, these are some of the cakes that I baked over the year of 2013. Ada lagi kot kek yang cari gambar tak jumpa. Ada jugak yang terlupa nak snap gambar bila dah siap kek nya..

Chocolate cupcake untuk kenduri kahwin.

Red velvet untuk makan sendiri. Hehehe.. Sedap.

Chocolate cake with ganache topping. Tak ingat siapa ntah order.

Kek Hantaran. First attempt bermain dengan fondant. Tak berapa nak lawa.

Chocolate cupcake. Order customer dari Rawang. Siap delivery ke sana lagi.

Chocolate cake with ganache topping. Delivery ke Rawang juga.

Birthday cake WanaWani. Yummy. Yang  ni pun sedap juga.

Buttercake with buttercream and cream cheese. Order dari officemate.

Birthday cake Zafri. Spiderman cake with surprise M&M inside.

Birthday cake Rayqal. Order sekali dengan cupcake. Mickey Mouse theme.

Kek saje-saje. Hehehe.. WanaWani bawa untuk Majlis Sambutan Hari Raya kat sekolah.

 

Birthday cake Rayyan. Batman theme. (Compliment to Rayyan's dad for the nice pictures. Oh, by the way, he is a photographer)

 Birthday cake Rayyan untuk Rayyan celebrate kat sekolah pulak.

 Chocolate cake with ganache topping. Lupa dah siapa yang order. Rasanya anak officemate jugak ni.

White snow cake. First attempt. Untuk makan-makan kat rumah je.

 

Ni kalau cupcake cenggini banyak-banyak ni biasanya orang Gombak/Rawang yang order ni.

Birthday cake Bapak. Hehe.. Bapak memang selalu dapat tema kemerdekaan sebab birthday beliau dekat-dekat dengan Hari Merdeka.

Order dari Azuwa (my cousin). Satu kek untuk parents dia (Mak Long and Pak Long). Satu kek lagi untuk Aqiel (Red velvet). Birthday kek untuk Aqiel tak boleh nak buat fancy sangat sebab order last minute. Huhuhu.. Sorry wa.

Birthday cake untuk Mak Long from her sisters. Chocolate cake layered with cheese cake. Mak Long kata sedap macam kek dekat Secret Recipe. Heheh.. Ye ke Mak Long? Thank you.

So, itu la sahaja gambar-gambar yang dapat diupload untuk kenangan saya sebenarnya. Banyak-banyak lagi gambar yang tak dapat dicari. Hopefully, lepas ni saya rajin-rajin la update blog ye. Kesian pulak blog ni bersawang je. Tau la dah nak dekat Halloween kan. Eh, tetiba.

55 Cupcakes for 55th Birthday Celebration

Assalamualaikum w.b.t..

 55 pieces of rainbow cupcakes with 55 candles for Ibu's 55th birthday celebration.

Pheww! You must have a trained skill to light up these candles in less than a minute before the first one blew up. That, I forgot to consider. Notice the long lighter? I bought that for the purpose of lighting up these candles. Notice the hand with the small lighter? Okay, that was the back up plan because the candles were about to melt. Hahaha.. Thank you Firdouse.

We celebrated my mother's birthday here, Restoran Hj. Sharin Low (if I'm not mistaken, excuse us for the bright light in the picture) in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam. This was my first time here.

Here's the video that was taken by my hubby. Please ignore the voice of the camera man, okay. Hahaha.. Something happened and the video suddenly become dark.. for a while.

Happy Birthday Aqiel!

Assalamualaikum w.b.t...

Last weekend, my cousin Azuwa held a 2nd birthday party for her son, Aqiel. And this time she ordered me not just one but two cakes with Upin Ipin theme. So I thought, ok, I can do that. I just need a little more time to make two cakes. Then, when she said one of the cakes would be a two tier cake, I gasped. Ok... let's take the challenge.

So, after 12 hours of hardworking on Saturday, these were the results:

The bottom tier was a chocolate cake and the upper tier was a butter cake with blueberry filling.

This one was a chocolate cake.

The next day, we sent these cakes quite early to their house in Nilai, so that we can eat early. Because Umie was lazy (tired) to prepare breakfast, so let's have brunch instead. Hahaha...

The decorations were awesome. Azuwa did it all by herself. I'm quite impressed. Azuwa wanted the smaller cake (on the table) to be a pre-cake cutting birthday cake. So that people who came early and couldn't wait for the cake cutting session can have a taste of the birthday cake. Very thoughtful of her, kan?

And this girl was saying peace holding up one finger. How cute.
